How does the trap work?

The UV light will turn on when the Mr NiceFly trap is plugged into the wall. Leave the trap plugged in. The SpydrLyte works most of it's magic at night when all of the other light sources in the house are off. The 395 UV light will attract the flying insects to the trap and they will get stuck and trapped on to the provided sticky card. Check the trap every couple of weeks and replace the sticky card when it is full.

 

Are the sticky cards included?

Yes, the Mr NiceFly SpydrLyte 2 Pack includes 4 sticky cards. Additionally, you can buy extra sticky card refills when you need them. We offer a 6 pack of refills for purchase on the website.

 

What kind of insects should I expect to catch?

Mr NiceFly works on many different pesky flyers. Gnats, fruit flies, house flies, mosquitos, and moths to name a few. Just plug it in and let it do its job for a few nights and then share your results!

 

Does Mr NiceFly contain any pesticides, insecticides or chemicals?

NOPE. Mr NiceFly SpyderLyte contains no harsh chemicals or poisons. The irresistible UV light is what lures and then traps the flying insects.

 

Can Mr NiceFly be used outdoors?

NO. Mr NiceFly is specifically an indoor trap and should only be plugged in indoors.

 

How much area can Mr NiceFly protect?

We specifically sell a 2 pack of traps for the sole purpose of providing you greater coverage. The 2 traps should cover around 800 square feet. If you have a serious gnat, fruit fly or mosquito problem, we recommend buying more units so that you can place one in each room. But for example, lets say your problem is specifically in your kitchen, then the 2 traps will handle the kitchen easily.
